| We are a fully operational FIV and FeLV Sanctuary!! |
| We have officially opened our FIV and FeLV sanctuary, and the cosmetic interior work is almost done! We are now accepting pet cats, cats from shelters and vets offices, and even stray kitties that don't seem too people friendly. We have separate rooms for kitties with FIV and FeLV and are totally cage free. Each room has furniture and shelves for the kitties to climb on, sleep on, play on, whatever their hearts desire. Each room also has a 3 foot window seat! We feed our cats a high quality hard food diet with occasional treats, and we use Feline Pine cat litter. The shelter building is on our property, so the cats can easily recieve round the clock care if they need it. So far we have taken in cats from as far away as Maine, and as close as Fort Dodge! To view our resident kitties Click Here As a result of this restructuring, however, we will not be able to accept healthy cats. We will see our current charges through to their forever home, but will not be handling both FIV+ cats and healthy cat in the same location. |
